Professional Beauty Delhi turns out to be a sourcing hub with record footfall, 04/07/2018 - 05/07/2018

Live stage shows, workshops, seminars and a lot more were organized at the event.

Pragati Maidan in New Delhi was a busy place on 4th and 5th of June as thousands of beauty professionals made their way to the 24th edition of the Professional Beauty show. The event attracted 14,532 trade visitors, comprising beauty professionals, salons owners and managers, stylists, retailers, manufacturers and students from across India and as far as China, Italy, Nepal, Taiwan, UK, and the USA.


Innovations, product launches, live demos, master classes, one-on-one expert interactions and amazing offers ensured that visitors left the venue with their expectations fulfilled. Leading international and national brands that exhibited their services, products and new launches to thousands of buyers from India and abroad included Ikonic (Associate Partner), Kryolan (Official Make-up Partner), O’2 Nails (Gold Partner), Alan Truman, Aroma Magic, Lisap Italia, Make up Designory, Make-Up Studio, Mr. Barber, Olaplex, PAC Cosmetics, Shahnaz Husian, Silkberry, Skeyndor, Skin Secrets, TeknoDerm, Temptu and Wahl amongst others. Both international and domestic brands were given equal opportunity to display their innovations, making the show an ideal destination for hard core beauty professionals.


The Professional Beauty Live Stage saw comprehensive educational seminars and product demonstrations from leading educators in the industry, including Andrea Louca from Kryolan, Jos Brands from Kryolan, Atul Chauhan from PAC Cosmetics, Avleen Bansal from Make-Up Studio, Renee Melek from Wahl and Gourav Bhardwaj & Savio John Pereira from Ikonic.


The live stage was abuzz with the hair, skin and beauty experts as they addressed to the queries of visitors with their proficiency. The All India Hair and Beauty Association (AIHBA) also hosted their National Awards at the show, recognising the best in hairdressing, make-up artistry and nails.


The second edition of Salon Management Congress (SMC) was another key highlight of Professional Beauty Delhi. The two-day seminar saw over 30 industry stalwarts discussing business, doling out advice and helping solve business problems of beauty entrepreneurs. The series of panel discussions were designed around challenging topics such as importance of hygiene and sanitation, growth of salon chains in metros vs. tier II cities, specialisation and upgrading, eco-friendly salons, venture capital and much more. SMC hosted experts such as Asha Hariharan, Pammy Kaul, CK Kumaravel, Dr. Bharti Taneja, Abhiraj Bahl, Nayana Karunaratne, Jawed Habib and others. SMC was inaugurated by Manish Kumar, MD & CEO, National Skill Development Council who went on to discuss the importance of formalised education, training and certification for the Indian beauty industry.

The third edition of Salon India will be back alongside Professional Beauty Mumbai and promises to be bigger and better with two days of non-stop creativity, imagination, entertainment and education.
